I was born in Florida but lived the majority of my life in Illinois. I hated it growing up, but now that I am married and on the cusp of starting my own family here, I feel very differently about it now. It's home. I am grauduating from college next week, which is thrilling, however it comes ten years to the day almost, of my high school graduation! It took me awhile, but I did it! With no help from anyone! (Except my husband and FAFSA.)
