I was born in Geneva, Switzerland, but grew up in Los Angeles, California. I moved back to my native country when I was twenty-one. I have published poetry and won prizes in England. My first collection of poems ??Driftwood? received the Edmund Blunden Memorial Prize of the International Poetry Society.
Recently my fiction and poems have also appeared in the USA in such e-zines as Cross Connect, The Drunken Boat, Samsära, Thunder Sandwich, and most recently in Static Movement. I write regular satirical columns about the Swiss for English publications in Basel, Switzerland, the city where I have now been living for more than 30 years. An illustrated collection of these columns and stories entitled ??Swiss Me? was published in 2005 by Bergli Books, and is now in its second printing.
