Rosalie studied Comparative Literature at U.C. Davis before teaching Language Arts, Humanities, and Short Story Publishing for 10 years. She now publishes her short stories in a variety of magazines and works with charter schools in Sacramento and Placer Counties. Currently, she is writing a book about her "joy" in living with MS AKA Many Symptoms, Maple Syrup, Major Sucking, and more commonly, Multiple Sclerosis.
In her spare time, she also draws, paints, knits hats, and cooks her family's Sicilian recipes; that is, when her hands function the way they should. Her current pseudonym, and family name, is Rosalia Sanfilippo.
