I'm a 23-year-old Dutch girl who has just graduated in English literature. I've been writing on and off all my life, usually only when inspired (which is not that often). Writing mostly means hard work. Still, sometimes I can't help myself, I simply have to write. Always in the beautiful English language, of course. I can't write creatively in Dutch! My stories are always set in England, usually London. From september to december I was in London as an au pair. It's easier to write about what you know, though I've no lack of imagination. I'm currently struggling to find a job, so in the meantime I resort to writing, to not feel so useless. Not that anyone reads my work. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised to discover this site! In London I also participated in a creative writing course, during which I learnt a lot from the other writers. Constructive criticism is really valuable!
