Born and raised in Carson (A suburb of Los Angeles), my short stories deal with the angle of a Costa Rican childhood in an American city. The stories often revolve and involve my mentally handicapable brother who sees the world through eyes I wish I could borrow. So far I have about 8 short stories done and ready to submit (Total content about 80 pages.) My original goal was to write my favorite genre, fantasy, but the Writer's Guild I belong to here in Fayetteville NC has challenged me to write semi and auto biographical works. So far, no regrets.
