Keshia Kola, (born Marquisha Gatewood) is a comedienne, screenwriter and author of three flagship books; The Shesaurus, Hesaurus and Sexaurus. She is currently working on The Bad Girls of Comedy: Uncesored featuring today's hottest, baddest female comedians to benefit women in recovery from breast cancer.
Keshia Kola is also a community advocate. Along with other community leaders and business volunteers, she developed DUX FEMINA, an empowering organization designed to build leadership skills for young women of color aged 13-18.
Ms. Kola is also the CEO of the small independent publishing company, Penmar Press. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California and has performed at the HaHa Cafe, The Comedy Store and the Improv.
