Began writing in 1982 as a pre-teen. Took every English elective offered in high school and aced it, including college level classes. Served as assistant editor for my high school newspaper. Actually wrote two books during my adolescence, one a compilation of tortured poetry and the other a fiction story. Did not pursue publication at that time but still have both books. Got married and had two children at ages 20 and 22. Divorced and have been a single, working Mom since 1993. Children are teenagers now and I have finally had the opportunity to get started in college. I've posted some writing from my 1st semester English class and will post more from my second semester class (which is in progress). During the next two years I will complete my first book and seek publication. I'm EXCITED!!!!
