Sophia was born in Brussels, spent much of her childhood in Scotland and now lives in London. She studied devised theatre, but concluded that the world of performing was not for her, and turned instead to writing.
Sophia's work has been published in several print and online magazines including Inclement Magazine, Volume magazine, Argotist, Red Pulp Underground, Silenced Press, The Beat, A Poets Call, Pyramid Magazine, The Scruffy Dog Review, and Up the Staircase amongst others, and will shortly appear in Debris and Decanto. She will also have poems in two anthologies due to be published in 2008, 'Scream' published by Edit Red and 'Zygote Abstract' published by Red Pulp Underground.
