I live in one of the loveliest cities in the world, in a post colonial, post apartheid country. My writing often reflects this and is inspired by political and social movements.
I write mostly in Afrikaans but where possible I do translate my work. I'm working towards an editorial job and practice my writing when and where I can. To this end I am studying towards a BA in literature. I've written a couple of plays for the stage that have been performed with relative success. One of these was the winning play at a local plays festival.
Hope that what I write, will inspire and encourage!
