First things first. I'm a female student in the Midwest USA.
I enjoy writing (obviously), reading, playing video games and studying.
So... Writing. Could well be a boring topic, but I don't feel like listing off my favourite authors and musicians. In my mind, that's boring.
Every once in a while I like to write poetry, but most of the time I stick to prose - it's more interesting to me. You can't fiddle with the story if it's poetry, unless you're writing ballads, which honestly get boring pretty quick. Too 'sing-songy', in a way. I have no idea how to make that a noun.
I adore picking at stories, in the books I read, shows I watch, and the games I play. There's so much you can extrapolate from, just the little things that are said, the little actions. My ultimate goal is to write a story where I can later go back and do exactly that. In the short term, I'll settle for actually getting a long work done.
My ultimate weakness with writing is plot. I can write a scene fine, or an analysis, but plans for a work, no matter how in depth and detailed I make 'em, usually end up nowhere.
And now that I've no doubt bored you all to tears, I'll take my leave.
