Greetings. My name is Thia Harrington. I was born and raised in Maine, where it's usually on the verge of winter at any given time. But the scenery is breathtaking so it's worth the frigid weather. There's nothing like living on the ocean.
I've been writing for nearly my entire life. I particularly enjoy writing poetry, and have been successful in having a few pieces published over the years.
I'm currently in the process of assembling my work into two distinct manuscripts, and I'm working on a book of short stories as well. I'm easily distracted, so I've usually got several different projects in various stages of development at any given time.
I've also got a novel in the works - but at the rate I'm going it won't be finished until approximately three years after my death. I believe my decision to join a writer's group could be substantially helpful in moving that date up just a little bit.
