I am an unpublished writer, here hoping to change that.
I have written two novels, several short stories, and a few free form poems. The first thing I ever wrote was a children's story (as it was from the mind of a child) about a light-bulb that burned out and the spirit with-in went looking for a new "home". Hopefully that gives you an idea of how this whole thing that is "My Ink" came to be. I have been writing "officially" since Junior High, (started a long and convoluted novel that has been scrapped,) and reading has been a life-long passion.
I have been married for ten and a half years, and have two children. My recent writing has been for my children, but the novel is more written for late teen and up. I like science fiction, horror, and fantasy, and my most recent novel is sci-fi/fantasy, my children's story (for my daughter) is a contemporary faerie story. So my writing can go anywhere. I am always looking for good practice exercises to jump start ideas.
Currently I am working on another soft sci-fi/fantasy novella, not sure how long or where it will end up yet.
