When I retired 16 years ago, my children bought my first computer, kicking the door open for me. To date seven novels have been written on three generations of computers, including ??Vigilantes East,? and ??Death for the Phantom Receiver,? an NFL mystery. ??An Accountable Death? is serialized on 3amMagazine.com. ??Murder from the Forum? is making the rounds, as are ??Death by Punishment,? ??Death of A Lottery Foe,? and ??The Keating Script.?
A collection of short stories, "Epic Cures," has just been published by Press 53, all parts appearing in print or Internet sites, as have hundreds of poems, (in such publications as Nuvein, New Works Review, Tryst, Triplopia, Paumanok Review, Story South, Projected Letters Literary Potpourri, Eclectica, Perigee, 3amMagazine, Snow Monkey, Small Spiral Notebook, Aethlon, Subtle Tea, Moonwort, etc.
Other books published include "A Collection of Friends," memoirs, 2004, Pocol Press; a poetry chapbook, ??The Westering,? 2004, Wind River Press; and my fourth poetry book, "This Rare Earth & Other Flights," 2003, by Lit Pot Press.
I have co-edited a sold-out 2500-copy edition of "A Gathering of Memories, Saugus 1900-2000," about my hometown and we are fast approaching a sequel, "Of Time and the River," also about Saugus, MA.
I have been nominated for six Pushcart Prizes and awarded a Silver Rose Award from American Renaissance for the Twenty-first Century (ART) for short story excellence.
I painted my 253-year old house last year and will not do it again. I'd rather write away my time.
