Sun Set

They say to never let the sun set on an argument
And i could just never let you walk away
No matter how much we'd be screaming
I'd just want you to hold me
Tell me all would be ok
And that this was just silliness

I remember the days when we would never leave each others side
Like we were stuck together with super glue
Or the strongest magnetic force i have ever felt
We sat together and watched the waves
Lapping at the shore
I would look up at you, and you would pull me close
Kiss me tenderly and tell me that you love me
I miss those days

Only once did we ever let the sun set on an argument
And that was my biggest mistake
You drove off into the night
Speeding like a man with a death sentence
I watched as you took the corner
And fear lept into my heart

That night as i lay in bed, waiting for your call
I thought only of you and your beautiful eyes
I hear the phone ringing and joy leaps to my heart
I pick it up to hear an unfamiliar voice
And get told unfamiliar things
I break down
I cant control the sobs racking my body
Nor can i stop the tears
I scream with anguish
And ask why, WHY?

I often go back to that same spot
And imagine you holding me close
I see myself looking up at you and into your eyes
And knowing how much i love you
I will never let the sun set on an argument again

this is also probably more a poem then a story, but it is up to you.
It really brings out emotion, and you have done this fairly well.
Perhapse you may want to put in some vivid describing words and similies to help put picture into your readers heads.
Nice work...keep it up!

yet another great read
