Nothing More To Say

You take out my pride
with a single
easy swing.
You dance into the light,
then away again.
The light
goes with you.
Your cruel words bite me,
a pack
of well-trained piranhas
at your beck and call.
You undermine me
with your derisive laughter,
send me to stand in the corner,
yours to ridicule
forever.
You're vicious, malicious, sharp-tongued, twisted,
you make me feel empty, inadequate, helpless, hopeless, weak...

What can I say?
I think I love you.

nice piece. now I have to add self-destruction to my list of inspirations that included love and hate:
love, hate and self-destruction I've shakin each one's hand.
I've drank with each one and I'll do it again
If you like horror fell free to check out my works. Let me know what you think.

I love your endings, the irony of it, the stupidity of the human race. I love the short ending though, kinda like punch, gets your point a cross.

I felt kinship in this poem and I'm on to read more of your work. There was no better way to end it. I had to let out a laugh in the end because it reminded me of myself.

Great wordplay and images, and then--guess what--a twist! This is sad and fun at the same time. Nice job.

I like this, I can relate to liking someone who is really a complete loser. I think the last few lines build up like a bite of words, good stuff :-)
