Softing Grass

I find you in the softing grass
Beside the wind-some lake
And sit before your color splendor
For you my music make

shimmering
and shining
within the softing grass
as with you
so will we two
and as all things pass

As I play and sing my soul
Others come to listen
But you the one with whom I play
Appreciatively glisten

time it follows
all the things
but as for you and I
we today now
this very moment
are

They question me for whom I play
Hour after hour
They do not know that I too listen
To you--my perfect flower

i love how you rearranged word order...

"we today now this very moment are"
rearranging language like that does something to the human mind..to mine it calms it. excites it. inspires it.

This is beautiful, I especially love the last two lines. I can imagine you playing..pouring your heart out..and that one that actually understands your melody..quietly nodding her head...slowly hypnotizing you in the moment of perfection. - Leah
