The Glory, the Mystery and the Truth

The Glory of Dawn

Beams, like laughter of sheer joy
spill over the trees
greeting the new day

Welcomeceremony of birds
the children of the skies
And a good bye for now
from the lack of sunlight
The night

From sunrise to sundown
the golden orb will sing
Although not everyone can hear
can see
the music of the sun
And they are poor
The hopeless

It's the end of the dark
beginning of the light
We smile, because we're safe
Or so we believe
So we want it to be

That's the glory of dawn
Hope

The Mystery of Dusk

The sun kisses the sky farewell
and wishes for a quiet night.
Not that silence means safety

The creatures of the night
stir
Some with a purpose
To hunt
To kill
To merely care about oneself
Don't you wish you could join them?

From dusk til dawn,
the silver globe will whisper
and everyone will know
the wish of the darkness
Because it's echoing within them

It's the death of the sunlight
Only the light from the moon, the stars
and from within yourself
will shine
Will lead you

And the night will deceive you
Because the darkness is evil
Isn't it?

That's the mystery of dusk
Is it the end
or a new beginning
But is either one of those
merely good or bad
white or black

The truth

The silvery gleam will try
to tempt you
to make you doubt yourself
To tell you that in another light
wrong could be right

But also the bright thoughts
can be treacherous
They give you hope
faith in things
But that could be a lie

Do know
that only the inherent light
your soul
knows your path
That's the light that can stand alone
That should guide you

So slow down
slow your breathing, close your eyes
shut everything else out
and listen

Hear the music
the distinct tones
the husky whispers
Listen to the message

Then you should see
Behold the shades
the basic needs
the radiant desires
and the tender - yet powerful - wishes

Look within yourself
and I believe that you will find
truth

light within darkness, contrasts between good and evil...the questions you posed, you will find answers to, what I liked the most is that you did not link darkness to evil, as so many do, for not all dark is evil, just as all light is not good. Falsehoods abound in either case, and one must be conscious to that thought, and you have captured a part of that well, awesome write.

Your perception is beyond your years.

Grow well young one, you have an impressive future ahead of you.

My darkness was given a moments glimpse of light...just a moment.

Respect,

Wraith
