Contradiction to the goal
Why is it that we wage these wars?
When it is peace we want to know
And a war to stop Terror
Is a contradiction to the goal
The one we hunt, the "bearded demon"
Has been hurt down to his heart
America had raped his land
And left him torn apart.
He then commits a most heinous act
And slaughters without need
And the Imperial demon, Bush
Reacts with mortal greed
Bush spits out many excuses
To steal an oil production
'He hides the "bearded demon"
And Weapons of Mass Destruction'
PM's around our aged globe
Flock to kiss his skin
Yet their actions only breed more hate
And Terror from within.

| I can answer why the wars are waged, it's because everyone thinks they are right about their religion, which causes them to do drastic things. It is a very great poem! |

I completely agree with you. And that was really well written. The first stanza was my favourite as it summed everything up so perfectly.
Just one small correction...
Last stanza, first line: "PM's" shouldn't have an apostrophe in it. Apostrophes show possession or ommission of letters, not plurals.
But overall, great poem. =) |

| Somehow, by some twisted "logic", many people seem to think that guns can put an end to guns. The beardless demon is no better than the "bearded demon". |
