Love's Curse

Playing the part
Right from the start
To most you seemed loose
But you didn't really have the heart
Searching as gay
But then you went straight
Really just looking for a different way
For the love so talked about
That treasure so dear
Made so many mistakes
Rushing that day here.
That gorgeous day
When you found the one
When you laughed and cried
With him under the setting sun
When the romance so thick
Made you weak in the knees
When with your heart and your mind
You'd trust him with the keys
So then you found
Desperation on the other end
A man with a broken heart
So in need of a mend
You rushed in as always
Like a young fox to her prey
Not really seeing the consequences
of acting that way
Because his heart was fragile
And his mind was wrought
It was only a listening ear
From a beautiful woman he sought
And that woman was you
Just as hurt and lost as he
You came together so well
And thought 'this is how it should be
I listen to you
You listen to me
We talk all night
Until it's the sun we see.
We make great love
Whenever we please
And we jump at the chance
To meet each others needs
We take it slow
Go at our own pace
No need to be all in each other's faces
About this and that
Oh no, Let's just love
We'll just love and love and that'll be that'
But oh decieved youth
You've mistaken indeed
This one whom you 'love'
Will implant a seed.
This young one will grow
And change your lives
He'll bring ruin and storms
Right before your eyes.
And what will you do
When the day of destruction is near?
You'll run and hide
And scramble in fear.
You'll die many deaths
And fail many tests
You'll hurt many pains
Before you take your final breath.
Because you rushed love
A sacred thing
You'll be forced to deal with the sound
Of the curse's ring.
