All Certainty is Lost

All certainty was lost
One tragic night
When I fell into the arms of another
Shed every tear I thought I could cry
Spilled all of my secrets
And all of my lies
When everything stopped making sense
And fate took control of things
That it didn’t see fit
Or meant to be
When everything that was right
Turned terrible and wrong
Decisions were made
On an impulse
A whim
That brought about
The beginning of my end.
