The Wedding Ring

This ring means much to me,
Much more than my own finger.
The love in this wedding ring,
Will always, and forever linger.
I love you more than I myself,
I love you with all my heart.
I love you more than life itself
I wish we would never be apart.
The great evergreen, best represents our love,
Summer, winter, spring, fall,
The only one to stop us,
Is the Great God Above.
The ring is strong,
For it, I would lose my own finger.
I'd wear it around my neck,
For the love will always, and forever linger.
