vanilla whipped
and sunshine dipped
the skin of your back
attracts
luminescent
a flavor so delicate
one slow slide
down the length of your spine
fragments time into
bite
after
bite
just a hint of mint
crushed, on ice
and the tingle of
a cinnamon stick
too sumptuous to eat
in one sitting
perhaps you should lie down
a languid buffet of hard
candy and syrup-centered
chocolates
in the end it all just melts
and the smiles run in
technicolor stripes
down the drain
