The Ocean

The Ocean is a place of wonders that sparkles with beauty;

Behold the radiance, hold your breath and just look and see!

The Ocean is full of wonders, dances with it's charm;

Dolphins swim away from shore, natural alarm,

Swim away from predators.be safe at heart,

Fill with glorious love,do not be apart.

The Ocean is a wonderful place,

A beautiful thing full of grace!

Shifting from shallow to deep,

Churning slow to be at peace....

This has excellent imagery and description. I also liked the formating structure of this poem and how it drew from larger to smaller as if taking in the whole ocean and then focusing on a more specific point. Well done. --Robert Barlow

Beautiful imagery as CPost already said. I don't know if you intended it or not, but the structure works as a form poem. It looks like a cresting wave!

I like this! It gives me a nice image of the ocean, which is one of my favorite places. The transition with the dolphins and the predators seems kinda weird, but nothing really serious. Excellent!

"The Buffalo Hunters"

by Nicholas Jakari

Violent, graphic novel set against the background of the South African revolution in 1994. The lives of five groups of people intersect during a bloody and violent Saturday night and Sunday morning. Not for the squeamish. Climax based on an actual gunfight involving the author.
