God's Call to You

I think of love, take a look around,
watch some grow as others fall down.
Then I stop and think of a love,
one that was called from God above.
You open the paper of news to read,
each day with your morning coffee.
I sit and dwell about our life,
how it was torn just doesn't seem right.
At times I ask,"Why you my love",
why were you sent to angels above?
You always gave that great lift,
God must have needed your special gift.
Anger I will not allow to step in,
for this only adds to sin.
So now my love I want you to know,
I'll say goodbye, never let you go.
Life goes on for me somehow,
for it's God who needs you now.
