Beauty

I feel the warm sunshine
And reflect pure blue skies.
Looking to a window,
I smell baked apple pies.

Somewhere in the distance
Music's being played.
It's on days like these
I know that we're God-made.

I get a warm feeling reading this. I can feel the sun, hear the music and smell the pie. I love days like that--when we remember our place in the universe. A moving poem.

Once again your mundane observations morphed into a refreshing little poem. Reminds me that the simple joys are what matters most sometimes.
