Miracles
In the palm of a hand,
a shell;
inside, a pearl,
a black disk
holding more than any
palm could.
A never ending circle,
its revolution revealing
times
places
events
memories
dormant,
barely concealed
underneath layers of smudged
graphite on a
squint label.
In the palm of a hand,
a basket;
inside, loaves and fishes,
feeding the masses,
more than the contents of any
palm could.

| Hi, This is really beautiful! Serene and delicate, yet thought-provoking - and the imagery is breath-taking. This is more a painting than a poem, and you've done a magnificent job. Thank you for this! :) |
