If laughter is the soul speaking, what on earth's a smile?
Is it the hearts way of showing how it feels and why?
Or maybe it's the mind, doing its little bit.
Acknowledging something good happened, not just something shit.
Maybe it's subconscious, a way to welcome in
All those around you, to share this wondrous thing.
One thing about smiles, they happen when you're happy,
That is why I always smile when you are with me.
