The Center

wrapped in layers
a spark of light
fuses threads into
spun diamond
ashes fall away leaving
a core of solid heat
it hums and spins
on a tilted axis
aimed at the center of
your mind
revolutions drive it further
through memory fields
and sensation's rivers
deep down to a molten
middle
what you desire
the destructive urge
it burns away the mystery
tunneling towards
a darker space
the hidden light that
envelops
pull the string that binds it
unravel to find something
immense
as it expands, it engulfs the moment
and leaves you gasping in its
vacancy

You have captured the impossible invisible miniscule but infinitely immense point that is nothing and everything and through which we travel to ourselves. touch god and be joyful.

The one long stanza is very effective--like a trip to the center of the mind--much enjoyed :)
