Grapes of the Vine
Dance! Dance! Dance!
among the lilacs and the daisies,
and underneath the maple tree,
Knowing that I am you
and you are me.
Clap Your Hands!
and it shall be.
The most beautiful light show
we'll ever see.
I'll be with you,
you with me.
Picked like grapes,
we were cast aside amongst the dirt,
and little pieces of glass
reflected all of our precious light.
We were as seeds, the barren soil our plight.
When we were offered a glass of wine
From the very vine of which we were cast aside, you said 'Yes!'
before I could reply.
There was water in the wine
and We grew together on a new vine
its beauty as clear as a single star
in the black skyline
now and forever
I am yours
and you are mine.
