The best of times, the worst of times
Men are corrupt, nations are at war, friendships are political, the world is bleeding with apathetic remarks, lust is for sale, the world is yours for a small price'¦it's the best of times and the worst of times.The world is waiting for a penstroke to moves these deadly black waves. From one cynic to another, graced and lost, loved and hated...yes, I am a writer.

| It seems to me that this is only half of the poem. You left out the "best times." I like this a lot as a starting point, but to really do it justice, I think you should put in some of the good things about the world! |

I relate to this. We write, because we breathe. Maybe to express our lives (not just our life) in an artistic way is the sure and safest method that others can relate to the writer, but also to other people as
well. Writing is a catharsis, art is a saviour and poetry is our blood. |
