Hello Ground.

Even when I'm drowning in a sea of despair,

And I choke on dirt and greet the ground.

When I let you down and sleep with shadows,

And disappear from view with a silent tear,

And am forgotten.

When they lie,

And try,

To say I have nothing.

The people I love are carried within me.
