But you're in a shadow.

I hope that you'd learn

That you'd been ignorant too.

I just need you to know

That it's causing me stress.

I'm not sure how else to do it,

So I'll just need to admit

Ah I think imagery is overrated. If you're going to say something, just say it! There's no need to hide behind 'profound images' and sometimes that just confuses people. I love the simplicity of this, it's great!

Could be more creatively put, for instance use of metaphor and imagery to describe the way you feel.
