Shells Surface on Waves of Transparency
Time is consuming.
Dark bodies float towards me,
I am contemplating their existence.
Your soul is brought to a place renewed;
It doesn't recognise
The life inside.
Let the blood spill down,
Let the stars burn out,
I'll save these words for another time.
Wouldn't they leave you empty and myself transparent?
Surfacing like shells,
Glistening jewels born on the waves.
You are everything to me,
And I am still learning.

When you are near enough to hear a whisper.

I like the words tot he verse - this would be nice to hear aloud... enjoyable...

Hi,
I've been spending the morning reading poetry off of this site and, although it isn't really my favourite literature, I'm sooo surprised at how much I'm enjoying the different pieces, like this one.
I'll defintely read some more of your work soon.
