Love is blind
Saw you across a crowded room
Your face shown in the Louvre
Eyes smouldering like burning embers
Like cig holes in a duvet
Four hundred pounds of quality
A woman of many acres
Saving her self just for one man
Not soldier
Not sailor
Nor candlestick maker
But baker
A shadow cast across the floor
Like a dark ocean inviting
If cornered by this heavenly site
I bet it could be quite frightening
Would she be interested?
How should I approach?
Be confident
Be wary
Throw caution to the wind
Grab life with both hands
Take the bull by the horns
To heck with the consequences
You never know till you try
Then again if she sits on me I think I'm gonna die

| There's just more to love that's all! Good poem. We all find different people attractive for different reasons and you're poem states just that. |

| That was pretty funny. On the other hand, to see the beauty inside and ignore the outside is romatic. Does not happen very often but have seen heavy girl with heavy/slim man or vice versa. I have said it a million times and will say it again, i do not care what someone looks like. Nobody ever believes me, i really don't care. Yes, you have to be attracted to someone but it does not have to be physical. What about the mind and sense of humor. Those amoung many things attract me to a man-not his looks. |

Woooow! This is great, lofty! Yes, love is blind, but , hey, womans "of many acres" need love, too, don't they? :-)
