When we were kids, we would dance round your room to your current obsession until the dogs got too excited or we got told off.
When we were kids you would sit me on the bed and feed me seven inch singles and guitar riffs until we argued or had sex.
When we were kids we would take five whole pounds to Tesco and make all our dreams come true.
I can still hear Neil Young and remember the pattern of your bedroom carpet.
I can still taste pot noodle and get mad at Debbie Harry for having the space above your bed.

Brilliantly done. Love the blondie reference ( i swear I am stuck in the 80's). I enjoyed this very much. **

not sure you need that 'when we were kids'
i love the images, feelings, and sense of it's set in a place but it could be anywhere.

I like it - it's conversational - the older I get the more I have the 'do you remember when....?' conversations. Struck a chord.
Good stuff.
