I was not thinking
Your heart is broken, I know that
but it's not what I'm thinking
as your mouth meets mine
fingers moving in and out of me
Your heart is broken, I know that
but it's not what I'm thinking as
I look at your heavy eyes, dark, half-shut
head thrown back
ecstatic,
mouth partly open
I put my fingers on it, in it
I put my hand to your throat,
skin so soft
smooth
I look at your face
you are so young
I was not thinking
the smell of your skin, hair
sweat would work it's way
into the cracks
of my lips
bruised
your fingers, mouth, teeth
biting me
I thought I would open
my mind, arms, legs, body to you
I was not thinking
of your raw smell
on my sheets
My cells will fall away, die, reform
I will have a body that never knew
your hands, your mouth
that body will not miss you
I was not thinking
I could miss you
hearts are raw
I know that
but I was not thinking
of bleeding
