Razing Darkness

wrapped in scarlet visions
a soaking wet
inhibition
gold rush, intimate hush
flakes of silence in the syrup
of touch

a hallucination
peaks of whipped foam
cresting in violent washes
blue hued embraces
a unity of flesh and thought

shredded stars in the black galaxy
of your intent
the sound tramples all
leaves time crushed in
pale powder on your skin

combined to form a single beat
a heart of intrinsic noise
diminished reality
you come away, absorbed
relinquishing only a
taste of the imperfect

(This poem is written in tribute to Jason's band Razing Darkness. It sums up all he strives for in his quest to warp sound and distort the aural realm.)

This is wonderful usage of words and imagery here I really enjoyed reading it and it captures what you want to say well.

I agree with other comments. You did an excellent job in creating the atmosphere. The readers can imagine the view in your mind.
