I wish you could know me
Not the awkward shell
Destined to die
Foolish flesh
Cringing at life in fear
Trapping the goodness
Within
Contaminating it
I can't help it
But the love I have is true
Unspoilt
But calling into the darkness
Of my sin
In vain
Suffocated by pride
Speaking with the tongues of
The Lord of Flies
What's this life for
Help me
Prince inside you
My heart sings the songs
Of sadness and pain
It hears on the radio
Get me out of here
Sweet Prince inside you
I can't make it
Alone
