Leaf, Thou Art Loosed! (Consequently, So Am I..)
I set a leaf free from
my windowsill today
I watched as the
wind swept it away,
Dancing,
(Tiptoe)Across the awning
Into
God-Knows-Where.
(Maybe)A new dawning?
It doesn't change the fact
That it's dead, though
Nevertheless, I.
had. to let it go.
Perhaps I am speaking of more than leaves?
Who knows.

I like this. and perhaps you are. i think you are. life - really to me is the same as a leaf. sometimes life breaks away and even though you can still see it and feel it it's just pushed around. led.
i enjoyed this. and i liked your self and last stanza the most. interesting. good poem! i liked! |

| Very nice double meanings here, a classy poem, and the way you have written it is refreshing and easy to read, and understand. so natural, your flow. Thank you for the read... |

Brevity with a load of message. I'll read up a couple of your works on here as soon as I have the chance. School work and suchlike stuff are pressing down on me. This is the reason I haven't done much with the chapters of my novel on here. But I'll check your works up soon.
Keep the good work up. |
