When this message finds you
I may no longer be a part of this world
But when this message finds you,
Without me to ruin your life,
Your sky will be forever blue.
The arguments you had with dad,
Were all because of me,
So when I am no longer here,
You can finally agree.
I was bullied at school,
Pushed and shoved,
Never like the other kids,
Talked to and loved.
The depression burrowed deeper,
You just couldn't see!
That fatal gash could appear tonight,
Still, no one would miss me.
Don't try and find me,
Leave me and you'll be fine,
I'm not worth the energy,
I'm not worth the time.
The sight of blood frightens me,
Believe me I should know,
More blood pours out of my veins,
As I endure the final blow.
So when this message finds you,
I will be lying on the floor,
The scars on my wrist to prove my pain,
As my blood shall flow no more.
