Tearing my heart open again
You came to me,
When you had your heart broken,
I let you rest your head on my shoulder,
When you were drowning in your own tears,
Well how about now?
Was all that a waste of time?
Because now you are going back to her,
And what if the person who truly loved you,
Was the person who saved your fall?
Every time she pushed you just a little too far,
But she will make you drown again soon,
Drown in a puddle of pain,
And I will be waiting,
Waiting to let you tear your heart open again,
Waiting for you to break my heart once more.
