I don't deserve you
You deserve to see a rainbow everyday,
See the colours of the world laid down in a midnight sky,
And the beauty of a thousand whispers,
Heard over the crickets of the night.
You deserve to see all the smiles in the world,
The international sign of happiness,
Let it send you into a thousand highs,
And remind you of me.
You deserve to drink the best champagne everyday,
Let your tongue taste the world,
And your mind live a thousand adventures,
As you drink with me.
You deserve to read all the books in the world,
And see the colours and contours of every single sentence,
To have all the wonders of millions of years of stories,
In the grasp of your beautiful eyes.
But most of all you deserve her,
To be in the most passionate and dizzying love,
To feel the way I do,
The way I feel about you.
I don't deserve you.
