It cam at 3:00 in the Morning

I  laid upon my sofa, in my apartment during the night, dressed in my underwear, when I fall asleep. I was awaken the next morning, when I head  a loud bang on the front door.  The baning sound as if someone was hitting the door with a huge canon ball, and hittig it hard.  The noise sound something similar to the ghost in the movies of Mr Scrooge' Christmas Past.  Bam, bam, bam.  I looked at the clock on the wall, and it was 3:00 in the morning.

Who would come to my house uninvited, and so early in the morning?  I was not about to get up and open the door, or even dare to go over and look through the window at who, or what it was.  This was just too scary.  After several loud bangs, the noise stopped.

The nest morning, as I walked around in the house thinking, it worried me that someone would come to my house so early in the morning and darn near break down my front door. The irony of it all, was my son was in the near by his bedroom, and the noise did not wake him, or any of the tenants in the apartment complex, and it Came at 3:00 in the Morning.
