Winter's Love

Winters a time for cheer and snow

Travels abroad- to grandma's we go

Families gathered 'round thefire

Warming hearts of cold desire

Holidays celebrated- Christmas, New Years

Times for thanksgiving- friends to draw near

To the table we migrate its time for the toast

Soon to be eaten is turkey and roast

Mistletoes hung- kisses are taken

children tucked in carry dreams of waken'

-to stockings- stuffed full to the top

-presents hidden- threat'ning to pop

Smiles abound and eyes glow with delight

All taking in that beautiful sight

with tinsel and glitter ornaments dangle-

In the background is heard, a jingle bells jangle

An angel looks down from its spot on the tree

A reminder to all of His love for thee.
