My grandma

Grandma died a couple of years back.
We all kept warning her.
"You shouldn't smoke."
"You shouldn't drink so much coffee."
This, that, and the other.
My Grandma was a nice Godly woman.
She had nine kids, only seven survived though.
She went to church almost every sunday.
Almost all of her kids had 'issues'.
The whole family only came together on the holidays.
No one visited her enough...only one sunday every couple of months.
My grandma died a couple of years back.
As I was leaving the house after a sunday visit I had a bad feeling.
A feeling I've only gotten once since then.
I was only eleven or twelve years old.
My grandma died a couple of years back.
No one saw it coming.
No one said good-bye.
My grandma's with The Lord now,
I should be happy, but I can only cry.

It's hard to lose a loved one. The pain never goes away even though it might lessen to some extent with time. It's obvious here of the hurt you are experiencing over her loss. I agree with suleem, maybe you should write more about her life. :+)

A good little poem about your grandmother. My grandpa died when I was 11 years, 1month less five days old. I know what the feelings like but I was much closer to him, actually I lived with him for 8years.

Keep up the good work and keep practicing. Have fun!
