Love by the light of an Xbox

Love by the light of an Xbox
The new romance of the times
Lovers spend quality time staring
At pixels streaming across the screen

"Nice head shot..."
"When was the last time you saved..."
"Don't you think you've been on there long enough..."
"When do I get to play..."
Replaces
"I love you..."
"How ya doing, Babe..."
"Come to bed and make love to me..."
"I hate it when you ignore me..."

This is how you make love
With a controller in your hand

Really nice work!
I loved it. I Can see a bit of my life in the poetry.
I especially liked the concluding lines and not to forget the title as well.
Great work! :)

True True, I've said those same words. Maybe someday if they vanquish traditional marriage there will be Mr. and Mrs. Xboxes with a partner that is so easy to turn on.

I have to side with lofty on the playstation. You don't know how many times I've heard this at home. Love this piece. Sometimes the simplist observations can make the biggest statements.
