Devour of Power

In your eyes I saw the sun's reflection.
It looked of the dark side of the moon-
There a maggot crawls alone
Consumed
Devouring its family and remanence
Leaving nothing to reproduce substance
For its appetite to consume
Only the barren darkness of the backside of the moon
Where your soul gains no boon.
