| I liked this one. The last stanza works well. I'd have taken issue with your mother about the drinking....children need to drink when they're thirsty. |

| Interesting read and thought provoking, being born again each time you learn something new. |

When I was born the first time I was soft and pink,
Then I was born again when I learned how to think.
As if seeing with new eyes, I was born, yet again,
Because if I wasnâ??t potty trained my bed would really stink.
And mother would never let me go to bed if I took another drink.
At six I was born again at the park when I fell down.
Warm liquid drops of pain descended with a frown.
And the reason I was born again was because pain was just found.
I continue to be born again- just about each day,
Because my mind discovers new things in many different ways.
As long as I live, and perhaps even after
My thoughts, feelings, and knowledge will grow,
Exactly like my laughter.
