Past the moments I wish i had,
Before the words leave my lips
During the time forever would end
A minute to see
A moment to find
A lifetime to pay
Before you see me
After I know
While you wonder
I grant an image
I curse inhibition
I fall back into submission

Great description of that momentary do-or-die lapse of time... the first paragraph is a bit out-of-synch with the rest of the poem becuase the lines are longer...but, I'm not saying you should change it... just something to ponder...
