Today

I looked above

My eyes Today

Saw hues of Blue

Through shades of grey

I saw the world a different way

Of the ones I've read from you, this one shines in it's simplicity, while speaking volumes...especially liked the ending line. Very strong and much enjoyed poem you have here.

I love it. To see something better through the darkness. Simple and yet so bold. Brilliant. :)

This is so simple, but I see the deeper meaning of hope. I like it.

Ah, but I would like to know more! You're given us a metaphor, but you haven't placed it in any context- what was the grey? What bought on this epiphany? How was this way different that before? You hint at all of this, but it would be a stronger piece if you allowed the reader a little more insight.
